Allocation Procedures

Allocation for U7, U9, U11, U13, U15, and U18 follows Hockey Canada Pathways for player rankings.

Late Registrants - Skaters

Any players who register after teams have been allocated per Hockey Canada pathways will be allocated to a program or team by the Director of Operations and the President.

Late Registrants - Goalies

Any goalies who register after allocation day will be allocated by the Director of Operations.

Teams who lose their only goalie after allocation will be re-allocated a goalie using the following criteria:

1. The next goalie to register

2. A goalie off the waiting list

3. If there is a team with 2 goalies, the last registered goalie (by time/date) will be moved

4. If there are multiple teams with 2 goalies, the last registered goalie (by time/date) allocated as the 2nd goalie will be moved

5. If there are not enough goalies, the League will develop a rotation schedule, and/or callups/call-across subs may be used

6. For U18 only, an Alliance Goalie Relief request can be filed for permission to bring back a graduated goalie
