Tournament Eligibility
The number of tournaments allowed per team per season for House League, Select, and Minor Development will follow Alliance rules and Hockey Canada pathways restrictions.
- All teams (House League, Select, and Minor Development) participating in any tournament, including CYO hosted tournaments, are required to fill out an online Alliance Hockey Travel Permit. Travel permits are also required for Alliance House League, Select, and Minor Development championship weekends.
- The Director of Development must receive the Travel Permit request at least three days before the exhibition game, and two weeks prior to a tournament. The Director of Development will authorize the Travel Permit electronically, and a copy is automatically emailed to the coach or team manager (whoever filled out the travel request).
- Any suspensions received during a tournament must be reported to the Director of Risk and the Program Leader immediately following the game.
- Failure to comply will result in suspension of future travel permits and/or suspension of the Head Coach.
